Breen congratulations Parishes on Tidy Towns Success.

Fine Gael’s Deputy Spokesperson on Foreign Affairs Pat Breen has today warmly congratulated all Clare Winners in this years Tidy Towns Competition ackowledging in particular his own Parish of Ballynacally and Lissycasey on their success.
“I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to all those involved in the success achieved by Ballynacally in winning the silver medal in this years Competition. It is due recognition to the Tidy Towns Committee and the people of Ballynacally for their hard work and commitment over a number of years, it is a success which we are all proud of. In addition to this Lissycasey is the pride of the County in their success in winning the Best new entry award. The work of Tidy Towns requires a dedicated group of volunteers in our Parish; these people are the unsung heroes/heroines of our Parish without whom we would not have achieved this success.”
Overall the results are a huge boost to the entire County with Ennis winning Ireland’s Tidiest Large Urban Centre and the other centres also buoyed up by the results, Kilrush, Labasheeda, Killaloe, Mountshannon,Kilkee and a special mention to the children and teachers of the Holy Family National School for winning the Mid-West School Award.
